Here is the holy grail of Blade Runner props. For 17 years the Blade Runner blaster has remained a mystery and an enigma. Now, for the first time, a completely accurate reproduction has been produced. The Richard A. Coyle 2019 Detective Special Model CS is fully functional. The four indicator lights located on the left and right sides of the magazine light up. The circuit is activated through a small hole on the left side of the magazine housing, just like the original. Pull the trigger closest to the grip and the hammer actually lifts and then snaps down, simulating the firing mechanism of the movie prop. By detaching the front magazine assembly through the removal of a screw on the right side of the blaster and another under the front of the receiver, you are able to access the spring-loaded cylinder rod which, when pulled forward, allows the cylinder to swing out exposing the five .44 caliber dummy rounds that come with this model.

The prop you are bidding on is the culmination of over ten months of research, sweat, long distance phone calls, late nights, panic, frustration, countless gun shows, commitment, and most of all, hours and hours of dedication on the part of Richard A. Coyle and Phil Steinschneider. Needless to say, this is probably one of the most anticipated science fiction models ever produced. To my knowledge, no one has ever created a replica like this one. The peerless Mr. Coyle has again created a peerless work of art.

This model is made of polyurethane castings taken from the identical weapons employed to make the movie-used hero gun. This prop also includes small aluminum and brass parts.
